Little Yellow Bicycle: Winter Fun Decor & Giveaway

Good morning! I have one last project to share with you for Little Yellow Bicycle and their "Winterings" collection. I also have a little giveaway at the end of this post.

For my last project, I wanted to create a home decor piece that I could put on my fireplace mantel. We had a blizzard here right before Christmas and my girls had so much fun playing outside in the snow.

I printed my favorite Instagram photos to 1.5" and decorated a very old coin folder (Bazzill made these several years ago) that I had in my stash. This was a great opportunity to use up my favorite bits and pieces in the Winterings collection. I punched patterned paper circles, layered die-cut snowflakes, and embellished with stickers, pearls and sequins.

And here's my giveaway for today...Little Yellow Bicycle was so generous that I had some beautiful product leftover from my projects and I decided to share it with one of my blog readers.

Just leave me a comment sharing your favorite winter activity (indoors or outdoors) and I'll draw and announce a winner this Friday.

Thanks for stopping by today! And don't forget to leave a comment! :)

Having sled races with my kids and hubby! We have 2 sno-racers, and we have tons of fun seeing who goes further! Another fave is playing snow tag in our maze in our backyard (we have over 4 feet of snow so far this year!) So, lots of fun!!!

Loving this collection from LYB!!

Beautiful project for your fireplace mantle!!

Since we get LOADS of snow every winter in our area, it's always fun to build snowmen and snow forts and of course, toss an endless amount of snowballs up in the air for our dog to catch! :)

My favorite winter activity is to curl up on the sofa with a blanket, a mug of hot chocolate with LOTS of whipped cream, and one or more of the following:

A good book
A movie
The cat curled in my lap
Snuggle time with my son.

Thanks for the chance to win. I'm still pretty new to scrapbooking and love seeing ideas for potential layouts.

Turning 60 this year, so my favorite winter activities involve any sport NOT associated with ice ... my skating days are over (sigh). But what I do enjoy is a hot cup of cocoa, a roaring fire, and a good book ... and watching my grandkids discover all the wonders of winter!
